Handicap Parking
Any vehicle parked in handicapped parking areas without a placard, or outside designated parking areas, is subject to ticketing and/or removal. Any student who fails to pay fines may be reported to the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles and be subject to Registry imposed penalties. Disabled Parking is ONLY for those who display a Disabled plate/placard issued from the Registry of Motor Vehicles.

To get a permanent or temporary disabled permit go to the RMV website and complete the Application for Disabled Parking Placard/Plate.

The Commuter Program
Cape Cod Community College has partnered with MassRIDES, the Commonwealth's Travel Options program, to encourage healthier and more sustainable modes of travel among our students. You can even earn rewards from MassRIDES when you choose to carpool, vanpool, bicycle, walk or ride transit instead of driving alone. Carpool placards for designated parking in all of the parking lots are available from the Office of Campus Life.

To participate, register for Bay State Commute, and receive points each time you take a green trip. You can also use Bay State Commute's ride matching feature to find colleagues to form carpools to travel to school or work.

The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA): The Barnstable Villager bus route stops at CCCC. No bus service on Sundays or Holidays. Students using the bus service to campus on Saturdays must inform the driver upon entering the bus. Day passes and monthly passes are available at a reduced rate.

For schedule and additional information: The Barnstable Villager

Dial-a-Ride Transportation (DART): This system is comparable to a group taxi program in that it requires advance reservations and includes door-to-door by appointment transportation service. DART is a valuable service for our students who are not centrally located to the main arteries. It is also a popular service for our disabled and senior citizen students.

Plymouth and Brockton Bus Line: The Boston/Hyannis route has a stop near our West Barnstable campus. Learn more: Boston to/from Hyannis

Students enrolled in classes are required to obtain a college issued Student Photo Identification Card which must be validated every two years. You must present your Student Photo ID when asked to do so by a college official.

To obtain your ID, please go to the Student Engagement Office (774.330.4320 or studentengament@parkcitiesflowermarket.net) or Wilkens Library (774.330.4480 or refdesk@parkcitiesflowermarket.net). Please bring proper Photo ID (government issued, high school, passport, etc.) and your course schedule with you:

The Photo ID card serves as a library card and allows students the use of campus facilities. Students in remote and online courses are encouraged to contact the Wilkens Library to receive a library card number.
